It is not Enough to be a Developer, You have to be a Seller too

Taking advantage that in our last post we commented on app stores, I would like that you guys read a very interesting article from MOTODEV Blog. Christopher Swambar discusses on a very pertinent subject, since the growing number of applications that have been submitted to all the app stores (e.g. Ovi, Apple, Android, etc.) available on the Internet. On this article, he outlines six pricing models that can be used for your applications.

So, if you are about to submit an application to Apple Store, for instance, I recommend you take a look at it before.

Motodev Studio for Java ME on Macs: Now Available!

Hi all,

The Java ME developers and Mac's fans, that work with Motorola devices, are now glad to hear that they will be able, from now on, to develop their MIDlets on their Macintoshes.

MOTODEV just released the Motodev Studio 2.1, a Motorola's tool for Java ME development. In additional to Mac support, this new version also comes with some other improvements. See some of them below:
  • Certificate management
  • More demos to help you get started faster
  • Support for cool new handsets (e.g. MOTO VE66)
