Yesterday (Oct 28th), I had the opportunity to attend a great event in São Paulo, Brazil. This event was about Sony Ericsson Create Now Tour. I was there, along with two other workmates, to represent the company that I work at, Atlântico, where we had the great opportunity to meet some high executives from Sony Ericsson.
Sony Ericsson is holding this event in 15 countries, where they are presenting its new Hero Developer Program, which will give the developers the opportunity to have a closer contact with Sony Ericsson development environment. In addition, they also presented its app submitting process and business models for Play Now area. The idea was to have a closer contact with the developers/companies so that they could give to Sony Ericsson valuable feedbacks on theses new products.
It was great! We talked to people from many areas (e.g. marketing, development, business, etc). All the lectures were very straighforward, but with much useful and interesting information. We also had an "one on one" conversation with two executives, where we could introduce the company and products.
It was an one day event, with much information, contacts, business, etc. Besides, a terrific buffet for the lunch. :)
