I have been reading MIDP 3.0 specification in the past days. As expected, there are many new features coming. JCP states it is now in its Proposed Final Draft (May 28th, 2009). At this stage, the specification is already being used as the basis for the RI and TCK. In other words, it means that it is no longer only on the paper.
In fact, we already advanced some of the news in the post "MIDP 3.0 is coming...". However, my intention now is to give more details about them. As I am going reading the specification, I will post my discoveries here, OK? So stay tuned in the next posts.
